Chapel Leadership & Staff
Elders
Elders are Godly male members who serve by leading either as paid or volunteers from The Chapel congregation. They provide overall leadership for The Chapel by coordinating all resources (membership, staff, budget, facilities and programs) to fulfill our purpose (I Timothy 3:5). Care for church members the way a good shepherd cares for his flock (I Peter 5:2-3). Pray for our church, our community, and the world (1 Timothy 2:1-4, James 5:13-16). Oversee the preaching and teaching ministry of the church (I Timothy 5:17). Equip God’s people for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12). Recruit and appoint men and women who are qualified members to serve as deacons (Acts 6:1-4). Recognize qualified candidates for ordination and licensing (2 Timothy 1:6). Oversee the hiring, supervision, care and dismissal of all Chapel staff.
